Dallas International Film Festival

I would like to kick start my blogging by talking about my experience with the Dallas International Film Festival.  When the fest began, I was first scheduled to be an usher.  I wasn't really thrilled but - still eager to participate.  I then told someone associated with the fest that I was a photographer and would love to participate in that area if I could.  And sure enough - they hooked me up!  I got to be a Red Carpet Photographer for the duration of the festival and got to attend parties too.  It was so much fun!  I took pictures of Ann-Maragret (Bye Bye Birdie, Grumpy Old Men), Dennis Quaid (Parent Trap, Soul Surfer) and Morgan Spurlock (Supersized Me, The Greatest Movie Ever Sold).  This will always be an experience I'll never forget!
