Art of Film 2011 - Honoring John Lithgow

On Friday, November 18, 2011, The Dallas Film Society rewarded my hard work by inviting me to the Art of Film event.  Earlier in the week, I went to the Art of Film Party to take pictures for them (photographs sent to press) and that is when they asked me to clear my schedule and come!  I was so excited!  The honoree of the evening was John Lithgow - yes, the Trinity Killer himself, and I was going to be able to photograph him on the red carpet, meet him, watch the program and then have a fancy dinner.  It was amazing!  I shopped all week for a great outfit - of course! - and when the event came, John Lithgow was amazing and really tall and nice.  Peter Weller (Robo Cop, Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, Dexter Season 5) showed up, as well as, Randy Travis , the country music singer.  I took photos of all of them!  The event was wonderful, John Lithgow was as nice as he could be and dinner was amazing!  I came back the next day to the Angelika Dallas to photograph the screenings of The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai (Q/A with Peter Weller) and Terms of Endearment.  Wonderful weekend.
